The Water Resistant Android Phone Xperia Active

Together with Xperia Ray during CommunicAsia 2011 show, Sony Ericsson also announced their though smartphone named Xperia Active. Sony Ericsson claimed this device is dust proof and water resistant combined with scratch-resistant screen and their revolutionary features wet finger tracking support, yes you can still tap LCD touchscreen although your fingers is wet, the device will track your fingers when they are wet because of sweat or anything. And another great features is water resistant, you can proof it by swim in up to 1 meter of water depth for 30 minutes. And like other Sony Ericsson latest handsets, this smartphone is equipped with ANT+ Technology for real-time heart beat tracking.

This Sports-Handsets pre-installed with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) runs using a 1GHz Scorpion processor as well as 3″ 320 x 480 pixels (HVGA), LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors (with Mobile BRAVIA Engine), a 5MP camera with 5 MP (2592×1944 pixels), autofocus features together with LED flash, it’s also provided secondary camera on front for video chat. If you want to capture a video clips you can use it because this handset support 720p video recording. For saving applications on android market you can use 320MB internal memory space and even when you need more space you can save your data in microSD card slot (free 2GB pre-installed card when you purchase it), Xperia Active planned to shipped in Q3 2011.
