Vodafone Australia Official 2.3.3 Update Desire Z

HTC Romania few days ago still in the last stage of gingerbread testing on Desire Z, but today Vodafone Australia officially announce that they have finished testing gingerbread (android 2.3.3) upgrade on HTC Desire Z smartphone, and will be released via FOTA (Firmware Over The Air), you should get notification on your handset screen from 8.00PM AEST 14th July 2011. But if you can’t see any update notification on your device today, don’t panic you should little bit patient because it will be rolled out slowly across Australia. If you can’t wait to update this device but you don’t see any notification yet, you have to force your device to searching this update, go to Settings > Software Update > Check New.

The file size of this update is about 104 MB, make sure to connect your phone on WiFi network for best result (you still can do it without WiFi, but regular data connection fees may apply) and also I recommend you to plug in your charger while the update process in order to avoid power loss.
