T-Mobile myTouch Android 2.3.3 Update Official

Yesterday T-mobile announce that myTouch 3G Slider is available for pre-order and scheduled at the market in July 27th. And today (July 2011) T-Mobile also starting to rolling out Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) update for myTouch 4G users which previously using Android 2.2 (Froyo). However, before this update is offered to broader customers T-Mobile planning to hold a test pilot program for this update, so don’t panic if can’t update your device today, the non-test update will start out in the couple of weeks and definitely will continue till the end of the year.

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Gingerbread 2.3.3 New Features and Improvements

Besides major OS update from Froyo to Gingerbread this update will give you several enhancements and new features, here’s what you will get after updating your smartphones :
New Features :

  • Better compatibility Microsoft 2010 Exchange
  • Latest version of Keyboard Apps – Swype

Bug fixes :

  • Bluetooth® audio works more effectively any time you giving an answer to phone a call and Bluetooth is paired
  • Display is a lot more stable and also responsive during boot up as well as use
  • Domestic roaming data connection is a bit more stable
  • Message inbox saves
  • Various applications and stability improvements
