Nexus S 4G Sprint Gingerbread 2.3.5 Update

Yesterday Sprint Nexus S 4G has rumored will be obtaining update to GRJ90 build number, this update will fix several bugs and provide some enhancements only, not OS update. But today, according screenshoot above from Droidlife you can expect to get Android 2.3.5 if you plan to doing OTA update your handset in July 11th.

Sprint Nexus S 4G Still Support Google Wallet

Nexus S 4G maybe the first smartphone device which would received Android 2.3.5 (gingerbread update) from 2.3.4. According the image you can see that it have GRJ85 build number, but don’t worry it still allow you to use Google Wallet which requires secure NFC. This feature is same as Sprint Nexus S 4G update documentation which enables NFC secure element. NFC is actually a wireless technology which allows data transmission between 2 objects if they’re brought in just a few inches of each other. If your device is NFC-enabled you can exchange data together with other NFC-enabled handset or even read info right from smart tags embedded in posters, stickers, and various other items.

For your information, Google Wallet is google apps which allow you to pay directly and securely with Citi® MasterCard® or even the Google Prepaid Card, you can use this apps to paying at hundreds of MasterCard® PayPass™ merchant locations nationwide, this coming soon apps compatible only for Nexus S 4G by Google which available from Sprint.
