Sleep Mode Issue Toshiba Thrive

Toshiba first Android tablet “Thrive” have been shipping last week, but several users reported various issue with their new android tablet. Major problem with Thrive (both 16 GB and 32 GB version) is when you leave this tablet in stand by mode longer than 30 seconds or so, and trying to wake it up by pressing power button, it will fail to wake up till you hold power button and device is shutting down. Toshiba have to give more attention for this device by releasing firmware update as soon as possible, as this can’t be fixed even you performing factory reset.

Beside this issue, Toshiba Thrive is great android tablet operate using Dual-core 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and running Honeycomb Android 3.0, and upgradeable to Android 3.1. I’m sure Toshiba is working with this issue right now, hope the firmware update will be available next month, not only fixing this bug, but also bringing latest android 3.2 update to Thrive. Keep in touch with us.
