Android 2.3.5 for Motorola Droid Getting New Updates

Android 2.3.5 update seems will be popular right now, after last month Nexus S 4G officially receiving this latest gingerbread update. Now 2.3.5 update also coming to Motorola Droid and Samsung Galaxy S II and yes this isn’t official release, this ROM mostly from a stock AOSP build. Pete Alfonso who develop this update for Motorola Droid has release his latest build GPA17, you will have Android 2.3.5 this also will update device kernel to when you install this update. This GPA17 nightly build still has several bugs, when Pete fixing SD card bug he encountered another bug which causing random reboots when trying to activate airplane mode, so he will reverting to the previous kernel.

Firstly, you should back up and sync your contact, apps, etc as this update will wipe all your phone data.
