Firstly, you need to backup all your data on your internal storage (contacts, sms, email, etc)

  1. Make sure you download the update files, once software upgrade is available in your area you will be notified that upgrade is available for your android phone, as always in case you can find any notification, you should manually check it by go to Home Screen > Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Update > Download. The file version is 4.5.607.A956.Verizon.en.US and file size is 103 MB and should take up to 30-60 minutes to download.
