Motorola Xoom confirmed to get Official Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) according the Forums Manager post at Motorola Support Forum, this is great news for those who already has this android tablet. And also Motorola Xoom maybe the first Tablet with Android 4.0 ICS update since Xoom is the developers device and Motorola Mobility to be acquired by Google. No word for official release date, we need to wait as the first ICS smartphone – Galaxy Nexus still rumored to be launched in November.

Xoom Official ICS 4.0 Update

I believe Motorola Xoom is ready for Ice Cream Sandwich and will run with no problem, as this tablet meet minimum hardware requirements to run this update. I’m personally want to try update it with CyanogenMod (CM9) rather than official update, as CM9 will release sooner and has more additional features. I can’t wait for it.
