Xperia X10 will not Get Official ICS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) Update

Sony Ericsson on their official Facebook fan page said that Xperia X10 will not get official Android ICS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and the gingerbread update few months ago was the last official update for X10 . That’s sounds bad for their users since many X10 users also want to feel ICS on their android smartphone. You may heard that SE planning to bring Android 4.0 update to Xperia line, but it only for smartphone which released in 2011. So, you need to buy latest Xperia line such as Xperia Play, Ray or Arc to get official update from SE.

X10 Get No Official ICS Update

If you have X10 maybe you disappointed, but there’s always a hope to make your lovely android phone to work with ICS, Google stated that if your phone can run Gingerbread that’s mean your device is ready for ICS too, if you can’t get official update you can try custom ROM. Some developers together now trying to make SDK port, and CyanogenMod Team also will work with CM9 only after source code released by Google.
