Now you can make a Phone Calls on HTC Jetstream, still trying to make SMS/MMS working

Most waited HTC’s second 4G android tablet HTC Jetstream already on the market in late last year, and this device was the first AT&T’s tablet, unfortunately you can only use it for data connection and no voice communication or texting. But after getting support from HTCDev to unlock the bootloader (S-OFF), now you can explore more feature on this android tablet and now you can make a phone calls on HTC Jetstream. AT&T HTC Jetstream Phone Calls

First requirements to enable phone call feature is unlocked bootloader (S-OFF) by registering and following official guide from HTCDev, but should know that not all claims as a result of unlocking the bootloader are covered under warranty, so there is a chance your warranty will be void. After that you ought to get root privileges, follow this guide to root your Jetstream.

After satisfying both requirements, you need edit phone build.prop located in /system/build.prop you can edit it using Root Explorer app (Paid) or ES File Explorer App (Free) on Android Market and then modify the following lines :

You can also enable bluetooth headset on Jetstream by modifying the following lines : = 4270403 = 1

Once done, save your work and then reboot the tablet, after boots you should notice a phone app, and now you can receive or make a phone calls from HTC Jetstream. For SMS/MMS features the dev already trying to make it work but until now there’s no solutions for it, we will let you know once messaging feature can be enable in HTC Jetstream.
