After awaiting quite a while finally Motorola announces a device which will get official update to Android 4.0, as we know previously Motorola only planning to provide an update to Motorola Xoom, Bionic and Razr, but yesterday they have announced several additional android phones or tablet to their list, here are some other device that will get ICS update : Photon 4G / Electrify, Atrix 4G, Atrix 2 and their latest smartphones Motorola Droid 4.

And for the release date in United States, Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available in Q3 for some android devices : Motorola Atrix 4G, Atrix 2, Photon 4G, Droid Xyboard 10.1 and Xyboard 8.2. And for Droid 4, Droid Razr, Motorola Razr Maxx and Electrify still in evaluation and planning stage. Seems like in 2012 there is lots of devices that will receive an ICS update, in case your android tablet or phone has 1GB of RAM that means you have a greater chance to get the official ICS OS upgrade.
